New 2022 Kawasaki Z900 SE- 6 Things You NEED To Know!

This week Kawasaki Z900 announced a new hire spec version of their super popular naked, the Z 900. This SC model has many nice upgrades, so I’ll tell you five things you need to know about it in this post. First up, a quick recap on the base specs of the existing standard version. By a 948 CC inline 4. And in terms of pure power, it outdoes most of its closest rivals.

The Yamaha Mt 09 Triumph St Triple or the KTM 890 Juke is also one of the most affordable, starting at just 9149 pounds. And that’s because they haven’t got carried away with the spec. Yes, it gets a TFT, dash, phone connectivity, and a few riding modes, but otherwise, it’s modest but adequate. The missing breaks, for example, do the job, but they’re not top spec blink, and the same could be for the suspension. they always seem to have a. A couple of options. Same for the KTM 890 Juke R and the. Street triple Rs.

Up until now, you’ve just had the base Z 900, but with this new SC version, you’ve got something roughly on a par with those fancier bikes and so gone at the Nissin brakes in favor of some radially mounted monoblock.

Brembo M 4.32 calipers now they still clump on 300-millimeter disks but with Brembo.

The pads and steel-braided hoses, now as standard Kawasaki, claimed that the net result for Z900C riders would be more robust, stopping power, more precise control, and more sumptuous feel. Now the suspension also gets an upgrade. It’s a similar 41-millimeter upside-down fork, but the settings have, and it now offers full adjustability, so compression.

Rebound and preload, as opposed to just the rebound and preload of the standard bike. On top of that, which we all know adds ten horsepower, and it lets everyone know that you’re riding the more. The pensive one same goes for the shock with the standard rebound and preload-adjustable unit for an Ohlins S 46. A nice touch here is the remote preload adjuster so that you don’t need to get any tools out if you want to set the sag for carrying a passenger.

Kawasaki says that along with the re-tune front suspension settings, the adoption of the S 46.

Ohlins takes handling, and chassis response to the next level and will meet the performance needs of even the most demanding Z rider.

On top of that, it also gets its own.

Candy Lime green paint. It looks pretty similar to the standard bike, but if you look closely, you can see changes to the side panels and the belly pan, plus their new fork and shock. 749 pound So that’s an extra £1600, which does seem reasonable when you consider what it would cost you to upgrade the brakes, fork, and shock yourself. But for reference, the MTO 9 SP is 10,202 pounds, the 890 Juke R is 10,649, and the triple street Rs is 10,700, which makes the Kawasaki. The most expensive of the bunch by 49 pounds, is it worth it? Well, I’ll let you decide in the comments below. Which one would you go ?
