See how some celebrities use their vehicles to express themselves

There are certainly different ways for a person to show his or her personality. Some may express it through music, others through fashion, and others through any kind of art form; while some of the rich and famous prefer to express their personalities through their vehicles.

Cars have always captured the attention of the public especially the flashy ones, and it’s not surprising that some celebrities have chosen to express their personalities through their cars.

Here we make a list of some of the celebrities who have chosen their cars as a way to represent themselves and their persona. Some are flashy, some are grand and some are even as classy as their owners. Let’s check out some of them.

10. Beyonce – 1959 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud

Who run the world? Definitely not Beyoncé but the 1959 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud that she and husband Jay-Z owns definitely adds a hint of class and demands respect when it hits the streets. Beyoncé is one of the biggest superstars in Hollywood and has been part of Forbes’ Highest-Paid Musicians of 2015.

Beyoncé’s persona of class and sophistication, added with a hint of fierceness, is perfectly embodied in her choice of ride. The 1959 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud is a bold epitome of the classic but fierce Carter persona.

It also carries with it the respect that Beyoncé gets from fans and media alike. At first it might not look like the perfect car for the superstar, but seeing her standing next to it, you’ll find that it must be what destiny looks like. Queen B has definitely found her most trusted steed with the 1959 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud.

9. Steven Tyler – Hennessey Venom GT

Steven Tyler did not definitely miss a thing when he chose the rare and rebellious black Hennessey Venom GT Spyder. Its 7.0-liter turbo charged V8 creates 1,200 horsepower, perfect for the Aerosmith superstar. The Hennessey Venom GT Spyder even has the potential to beat a Bugatti on the road. Bad-ass, yeah?

It’s as bad-ass as its owner. It is said that Tyler’s was one of the first five cars that were scheduled for delivery. Also, the Hennessey Venom GT Spyder is an open-top version of the original Venom GT (rumors are that Tyler requested for the open-top) adding around 30 pounds to the curb weight.

The Venom GT Spyder “has the power to shut haters up” (which is a good thing for Tyler maybe?) because of its speed and loudness. I can hear Steven Tyler singing “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” at the top of his lungs in this bad boy and care less about what’s going on around him. It’s definitely a match to Tyler’s loud and bold personality.

8. Rowan Atkinson / Mr Bean – McLaren F1

We’ve all been accustomed to Mr. Bean’s quirky character but it will probably be shocking to know that Rowan Atkinson (the man behind Mr. Bean, of course) has a taste for luxury cars. He might not seem that adventurous to most of us, but the British actor used to be a proud owner of a McLaren F1. Shocking? Wait ‘til we get to the juiciest bit.

He’s not just famous for being Mr. Bean but because he has set UK’s record for the most expensive insurance claims after he crashed his McLaren F1 TWICE. What makes it the perfect car for Atkinson is that his “weird” (in a good way) character sort of coincides with the bizarre crashing of his McLaren F1.

The car was crashed and fixed twice and was eventually sold with an estimated $9 million profit. It might surprise you to know that Atkinson has a master’s degree and owned a McLaren F1. Let’s give the guy some credit.

7. Usain Bolt – Nissan GT-R

It would be ironic to find the fastest man alive in the slowest car ever made. That’s not the case though. It’s not surprising to know that Usain Bolt, the fastest man alive, would generally choose a car that fits his lifestyle. Introducing… Usain’s Nissan GT-R. Just like its owner, the Nissan GT-R is also a legend of its kind. The two definitely complements each other with the GT-R’s top speed of 193 mph.

Probably to match his many gold medals, Usain had his GT-R painted gold and named it “The Boltmobile”. I see what you did there, Usain. Anyway, either he’s grown tired of his golden GT-R or he probably thought he could out run it or probably he just has a genuine heart to care for the poor but Usain Bolt ended up auctioning off his Nissan GT-R online.

Proceeds from the auction were sent to his foundation for less fortunate children in his home country Jamaica. Way to go, Usain Bolt! You’re not just an Olympic gold medallist, you are also a champion to the less fortunate.

6. Dan Bilzerian – Brabus G63 AMG 6×6

In this modern world where everything is usually influenced by social media, it is not surprising to know that there are some who have found instant fame by posting pictures online. Enter Dan Bilzerian. Unlike the other four celebrities on our list, he got his fame from simply posting his playboy lifestyle up on Instagram.

Just like Justin Bieber who posted his first video on YouTube when he was 12 years old, Dan Bilzerian simply got famous by constantly updating his followers on Instagram with his life. The American professional poker player just simply posts updates of his hot girls, booze, wild parties and his hobby, shooting and then voila!

An instant social media celebrity. No other vehicle will match Bilzerian’s lifestyle but the Mercedes G-Wagon 6×6. This Brabus-tuned off-road machine is the epitome of macho and excessive luxury, a perfect match with its owner. And what do you do with a car like the Mercedes G-Wagon 6×6? Well, as for Dan Bilzerian, it all boils down to picking up more hot chicks and shooting. Some people just have an easy life.
