Recall Notice for 2013 Triumph Trophy SE

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued a recall notice for certain 2013 model-year Triumph Trophy SE motorcycles. According to the notice “the left hand center stand mount may fracture.” In the event of a fracture the center stand may not function properly and result in the motorcycle tipping over. There are potentially 416 units affected and the notice pertains to those motorcycles produced from June 1, 2012 through February 28, 2013.

Triumph Trophy SE motorcycles produced after the specified date were built with a revised main frame which contains a new center stand bracket and aren’t affected by the recall.

Triumph is prepared to notify owners of potentially affected units and dealers will install a new center stand bracket on the left side of the motorcycle. Customers can contact Triumph directly at 1-678-854-2010. Triumph’s reference number for the recall is SB508RM2013/033.

Owners may also contact the NHTSA at 1-888-327-4236 or go to www.safecar.gov for more information. The NHTSA campaign number is 13V608000
