2012 BMW 7 Series – Go For It

First Look:

One could be in enviable dilemma when asked to choose a flagship luxury sedan for his/her garage, and that’s nothing but the truth. The cause for this dilemma is the fact that there basically is nothing to loose when your options features the likes of Audi A8, Porsche Panamera and Mercedes S-Class. Put 2012 BMW 7 Series in this list and you’ve got one more and probably one of the most admired luxury cruiser and sporty car which brings in dynamic driving experience along with everyday practicality and daily utility.

For the model year 2012, the BMW 7 Series brings the same turbocharged inline-6 engine under the hood of the 740Li and 740i. The inline-6 engine wasn’t seen powering the 7 series model as early as last year in 2 decades. And although it might sound enticing to sack model as a pokey sculpt planned as dealership traffic lure, the BMW 740i with its enhanced twin-turbo inline-6 engine generating maximum power of 315 bhp is capable of sprinting form 0 to 60 mph in as quick as 5.8 secs, just as the Lexus LS 460 powered by V8 engine and almost matching the power of the V8 7 Series model 10 years ago.

One another thing worth noticing is that the 7 Series model is also one of the most appealing cars of its class. The new 7 Series comes with elective active steering, but the car impresses us with its superb ability to cut through the tight corners. Even the conventional rear-wheel-drive model of the car is capable of twisting sharper and surer than many of the other midsize luxury sedans. The DDC (Driving Dynamics Control) system of the 7 series allows the driver to choose among four setting that includes suspension calibration and transmission response for satisfying even wider range of fanatics. Although we found it hard to put the right combination of  all the modifiable DDC attribute, but we think there definitely will be a simpler way of the same.

Despite all the aforementioned attributes, we think its touch to proclaim the 2012 BMW 7 Series better of worse than other models like Jaguar XJ, Audi A8, Porsche Panamera and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. The 7 series, in simple terms is different. On the basis of how much space do you want and how much are you ready to spend, its better to have a look at all those models. And it’s pretty right as well, because we don’t see a way to loose.
