As with the 2016 CBR500R earlier this year, Honda has chosen to preview one of its mid-level motorcycles with a few teaser pics ahead of the official debuts planned to take place at EICMA and the Long Beach IMS. The model this time around is Honda’s updated CB500F, the naked selection in a line of 500s Big Red first unveiled back in 2013. The details of the new model are scant, with Honda’s worldwide website citing “mechanical and aggressive styling” and “LED headlights and taillights”. The updated muffler, also found on the CBR500R, appears to be present on the CB500F as well. If other changes found on the CBR500R transfer over to the CB500F, expect to see more adjustable front suspension, an adjustable brake lever and improved fuel capacity. We won’t know for sure until later this month, so for now ogle the pictures below and stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
